1). I'm not sure of the significance of the March Hare but he is a nice piece of whimsey to balance the Perkins Diesel badge and they both sit well on the muted blues and blacks of the radiator.
2). A good cloud formation supported by the pattern of perspective lines with their vanishing point just out of frame on the right. It looks more like a path across the fields than a dry stream.
3). A striking combination of colours presumably seen through a bathroom window, the flower pattern on the glass really makes the picture.
5). By coincidence we were there only a couple of weeks ago. This view of the house from "the bottom of the garden"gives an idea of what a spectacular place it is to visit. The image though appears over dark and contrasty - can it be lightened up in the shadows without burning out the sky area?
1) I like the simplicity of this shot. But not sur eif I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the context, the hare looking out of the picture makes me wonder what its looking at.
2) A shot that many would never have noticed, the simple colours turning an ordinary window into a real pattern. nicely seen and executed.
4) I bet the guys wife is jealous of the way he's looking at that beast! A very well seen shot and great timing. Bootiful at the saying goes.
5) I don't know if Phil takes these kissing couples around with him, or if he just hunts them out. Either way they make add to the shots we have seen and bring emotion to what would be an ordinary scene. I would put good money that the darkness being the result of High St D&P, has all the hallmarks of minicab printing, and that the neg has a good deal more info in it that could be pulled out of it. Perishability of time syndrome. A good capture nevertheless and once again has that romantic touch to a setting.
1) I like the simplicity of the framing and breaking it down to just a few elements, yet the object is still recognisable.
2) Another beautiful landscape and great tones. The path leads the eye in just the right way and the dramatic clouds all make for a engaging picture.
3) At first glance I didn’t quite get it, but then you see the subtle flowers in the glass and then all becomes clear, I like it more verytime I see it. Very good spot.
4) Who is looking at who? Or should that be Moo? They do seem fond of each other though the cow does have a slightly worrying look, certainly not one to tun your back on.
